Beginners Course
The beginner course is designed to introduce the world of eyelash extensions to any artist interested in this business. The course lasts between 8 and 10 hours and contains the following information:
1. Introduction to Lash Extensions:
Overview of lash extensions and their purpose.
Different types of lash extensions (e.g., classic, volume, hybrid).
2. Anatomy of the Eye and Eyelashes:
Understanding different parts of the eye.
The growth cycle of natural lashes.
3. Health, Safety, and Hygiene:
Importance of sanitation and hygiene practices.
Understanding potential contraindications and allergies.
4. Tools and Products:
Overview of tools required for lash application (tweezers, adhesive, lash extensions).
Types of adhesives and their proper use.
Selection of lashes (length, thickness, curl) for different eye shapes.
5. Preparation and Consultation:
How to conduct a client consultation.
Assessing client needs and preferences.
Preparing the work area and the client.
6. Application Techniques:
Step-by-step application techniques for different types of extensions.
Isolation techniques for ensuring proper application.
Practice sessions to develop speed and accuracy.
7. Maintenance and Aftercare:
How to advise clients on proper lash care and maintenance.
8. Understanding the lash extension refill process.
Removal of Lash Extensions:
Techniques for safely removing lash extensions without damaging natural lashes.
9. Troubleshooting:
Common problems and how to resolve them (e.g., extensions falling off, irritation).
10. Business Fundamentals (if applicable):
Basic marketing strategies for building a lash extension business.
Setting up appointments and managing client relationships.
11. Hands-On Practice:
Supervised practice on models to gain real-world experience.
At the end of the course, students often receive a certification or a diploma, signifying their completion of the training in lash extensions. This foundation provides them with the skills needed to continue their education, practice, and eventually establish a career in eyelash extensions.
During the course, the student will learn with products that will be provided for her practice. At the end of the course, we will give you the kit so that you can practice at home with at least 15 models. Then you will be ready for the next advanced course.
